Accelerated Reader (AR) encourages reading practice by allowing students to earn points after reading (or being read) select AR books.

Point goals

Points are awarded based on book difficulty and percentage of quiz questions answered correctly, with less than 60% correct earning zero points.

Find an AR book

AR points can be earned only on select AR books (for which an AR quiz is available). You can find AR books in the following places.

Books may be read to a student, students may read on their own, or any combination in-between.
