Growing Caterpillar Reading Tracker
A caterpillar on the wall of the classroom will grow longer throughout year as students read (or are read) books.
A Reading Record (or Reading Log?) is sent home with students to record the following about any books they've read (or been read).
- Title
- Author
- Rating from Student (format?)
In class, students copy that information from their Reading Record to a paper circle caterpillar segment, one segment for each book read. Finally, they place thier segments on the wall to make the caterpillar grow!
