Students read a book and then take a short comprehension test on the computer. They earn points depending on how hard the book is and how many questions they answered correctly. They must score at least 60% to earn any points on a book. Books in the library that have an orange sticker on them are AR books. |

This is a work in progress (as of 2013-07) to provide a comprehensive reference for Sagamore Hills Elementary School. Ideas here could influence official Sagamore sites.
Take a look at (and contribute to) Sagamore information inventory 2013, Sagamore communication, and whatever else you can find. Then, edit this to be all Sagamore answers to everyone. :)

FAQ[edit]
Maybe a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions (the Internet age version of Q&As)) format would be good? List them here and maybe answer them too.
When does my child eat lunch (so I might join them)?[edit]
Since grades eat at different times, that answer isn't obvious.
What is Wonderful Wednesday?[edit]
One a month, we have Wonderful Wednesday to show appreciation for our wonderful faculty and staff. On Wonderful Wednesday, parents provide breakfast and lunch items to the teacher's lounge for all of our Teachers and Staff to enjoy.
(Above quote from the Room Parent Handbook. Suggested by Shannon McGinty and Michelle Webbe)
What is AR (Accelerated Reader) and what am I supposed to do?[edit]
See the Accelerated Reader page.
What is the Sagamore Rocks! auction?[edit]
Classroom art projects?[edit]
Not sure about this question. Asked by Shannon McGinty.
What is International Night/Week?[edit]
