In the service of Sagamore PTA Google Sites notes, try to choose the best Google Sites base theme (since that's where important non-customizable style lives). November 2013.
- Create a new site
- Template: "Blank template"
- Edit the Home page with some markup to test (just run through the GUI Format options)
- Try different base themes and take note in the table below
Notes:
- The GUI font size selection in points (pt) actually sets html of '<font size="1-6">'
- The theme font size selection specifies new size in pixels (13px for 10pt, 16px for 12pt)
- Custom "Entire page" "text" stomps on header sizes too (try "Content area" (and "Gadget area") instead)
